Position Summary

The Manager, End Point Delivery role leads a technical team responsible for the recommendation, design, implementation, and support of the employee computing and productivity environments. Responsibilities include technical architecture oversight, estimating solution costs, managing deliverables of cross-functional team-members, troubleshooting complex issues, and delivering world class customer service.
This role will work closely with the Teleflex IT professionals, company decision makers, and vendors to deliver productivity enhancing technology solutions.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead a high performing technical team focused on delivering solutions that meet the needs of the business and end user experience. This responsibility includes:
    • Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring personnel.
    • Evaluating personnel, making salary and promotional recommendations, and recommending activities for personal and professional growth to staff.
    • Setting, communicating, reviewing and measuring performance against goals, objectives and development plans.
    • Fostering a collaborative team environment that rewards innovation and leadership
    • Lead team meetings and delegate assignments
  • Ensure systems are regularly updated and security vulnerabilities are remediated in a timely manner
  • Develop capital and operational expenditure plans for new and existing services 
  • Lead technical teams in the development of systems requirements, design, and delivery
  • Provide weekly and monthly updates to direct management team
  • Provide technical leadership for business projects and initiatives
  • Interface with business representatives, vendors, and other stakeholders for scoping projects and system requirements
  • Ensure quality, compliance, regulatory and security requirements are met for new and existing solutions
  • Ensure systems are documented for operations best practices and system maintenance
  • Work with support teams to ensure proper transition of services
  • Identify and address technical or operational gaps & inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders in development of project plans
  • Manage issues escalated from downstream support teams ensuring SLA targets are met
  • Be an advocate for the customer experience
     

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 7 years in Information Technology, 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
  • Maintains working understanding of technology across many disciplines
  • Working knowledge of SOX and FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements
  • Firm understanding of IT best practices and frameworks such as ITIL
  • Understands technology trends and can identify how they relate to business needs
  • Experience delivering technical documentation including functional requirements, design specifications, work instructions, and installation qualifications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and PowerBI
  • Technical areas of knowledge should include and not limited to the following:
    • Microsoft Windows platforms
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Microsoft Configuration Manager, Intune, or comparable platforms
    • Application packaging and delivery
    • Automation
    • Video Conferencing
    • Cloud Telephony
    • Security principles and best practices
    • Enterprise network architectures
    • Enterprise telephony and communications architecture
