Position Summary

The Global Talent Development (GTD) team is looking for a Global Talent Development Specialist to report to the Talent Development Manager- Americas. A successful GTD Specialist is highly organized, enthusiastic, and passionate about the growth and development of Teleflex employees. This person will be responsible for the completion, coordination, and organization of learning and development activities. This will include the preparation and delivery of Teleflex Academy training programs, as well as global leadership programs, and supporting the facilitators of those programs. The focus of the role is to maintain the successful execution of the Teleflex Academy and GTD initiatives by working closely with the GTD team. The Teleflex Academy supports career and skills development for employees across the organization. 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Support the Talent Development Manager- Americas by coordinating all talent development programs, meetings, workshops, and webinars, including scheduling, sending pre- and post-work, communications to participants, and partnering with support teams.
•    Serve as the point of contact for external vendors, scheduling, updating, and maintaining schedules and rosters, reserving conference rooms, and ordering supplies and refreshments, in addition to any other requirements for supporting a learning event.  
•    Prepare GTD content, communications, and promotional strategies to raise awareness and educate company employees on GTD initiatives, learning, and events.
•    Maintain the Teleflex Academy calendar.
•    Deliver Global Talent Development courses throughout the organization, both as a lead and co-facilitator. 
•    Support the Learning Management System.
•    Support Teleflex Academy facilitators in agreement with Manager. 
•    Responsible for delivering results of psychometric evaluations.
•    Coordinate Global Talent Development events as per agreement with Manager.
•    Other duties as assigned.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
•    2+ years of working experience in Talent Development or Learning & Development or Organizational Development required.

•    Outstanding presentation skills, project management, and communication. 
•    High-energy level, approachable and enthusiastic.
•    Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment required.
•    Strong organizational and coordination skills. 
•    Ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks/projects within agreed-upon deadlines under minimum supervision.
•    Skilled in cultivating and developing professional relationships with leadership, subordinates, and peers.
•    Must be proficient with word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), and presentations (PowerPoint).
