Position Summary

Reporting to the global Director, QA/RA Enterprise Excellence this person will be responsible for working with QA/RA leadership to maintain and further develop continuous improvement efforts; primarily in the talent training program for the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA) group. 

This person will need to work with business partners globally to develop, assess, facilitate and/or lead talent development interventions, programs, and processes to support business objectives and strategy implementation. Assignments may be found in various functional areas (e.g., Design Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Product Quality Assurance) so experience in elements of the quality management system and/or regulatory affairs is required. 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Maintain and optimize technical training pillars already established. This included but is not limited to:
o    Intake of training requests 
o    Support alignment/completion of statement of work (SOW)
o    Host working session/kaizen events to develop content with cross functional teams  
o    Provides expert advice and guidance in the application of information and best practices in line with existing framework and SOW
o    Support/manage translations for content
o    Support/manage global implementation of content 
o    Manage grading, tracking, and reporting to senior leadership competency results 
o    Manages periodic reviews and other activities required as part of sustainability.
•    Analysis of company-wide programs and/or training initiatives that need to be changed and/or implemented in order to increase organizational effectiveness. 
•    Identify/ incorporate best practices and lessons learned into proven company processes for organizational change management and talent management. 
•    Support the QA/RA Enterprise Excellence function with other continuous improvement and optimization projects as assigned. 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Medical Device Industry  
•    Bachelor’s Degree required.
•    Experience in managing cross functional groups and delivering training / talent development preferred.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Excellent oral and written communication skills required. 
•    Experience talent development and learning theory/methodologies preferred. 
•    Strong stakeholder management skills preferred.
•    Talent Management or Learning Management System (LMS)/Training Tracking system experience preferred. 
•    Self-motivated and works independently.
•    Able to collaborate and interact with various individuals, teams and departments from all areas and levels of the business.
•    Ability to handle multiple priorities and complete tasks/projects within agreed upon deadlines. 
•    Develops new approaches and ideas. 
•    Able to create plans, processes and reports. 
•    MS Office proficiency required.
