Position Summary

The Teleflex Anesthesia and Emergency Medicine (AEM) business unit continues to expand, and we are investing for sustained high growth. The marketing team is integral to developing and driving the Teleflex AEM growth strategy through innovative channel marketing and new product development. 

The Global Product Manager will support the Front End Innovation (FEI) team, evaluating growth opportunities in new markets and taking our highest priority new product development projects from concept-to-commercialization for the Trauma & Emergency Medicine product portfolio. The ideal candidate will provide excellence in strategic marketing, drive results and ensure collaboration between Marketing, Research and Development, Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical and Medical Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Operations.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Partner with R&D and broader cross-functional teams to bring new products to market on time and deliver on business objectives
•    Develop and implement growth strategies and action plans that will generate growth in the Trauma and Emergency Medicine segment and increases in market share
•    Develop and execute market research initiatives to help acquire deep customer insights to guide long-term portfolio vitality
•    Identify and articulate unmet user needs supporting the business unit
•    Synthesize customer feedback and market data with technology and business strategy to create multi-generational product roadmaps
•    Contribute to the development of strategic plans to ensure innovation, added value, and support align with annual operating plan
•    Create business cases for new products being developed
•    Steer assigned project(s) from concept to commercialization through insights and data-driven decision making
•    Collaborate on forecasting, positioning, pricing and margins for new products 
•    Collaborate with and influence sales leaders and downstream marketing for the benefit of the Trauma and Emergency Medicine product portfolio
•    Collaborate with Leadership Team on investment plans for new markets & opportunities

Education / Experience Requirements

•    A bachelor’s degree is required – areas of preference include business administration, marketing, and engineering 
•    Level of selected candidate will depend on overall experience and skill, with leveling as follows:
o    Product Manager: 3-5 years of experience typical, with proficiency in overall product portfolio management with general supervision.
o    Senior Product Manager: 5-10 years of experience typical (MBA is preferred), with expertise in overall product portfolio management with limited supervision
o    Prior marketing, product management, and/or market development experience is required
o    Prior experience successfully launching new products is preferred
o    Prior marketing, product management, and/or market development experience with medical device and/or pharmaceutical companies is preferred, but not required
