Position Summary

This role is a 2 year fixed-term contract

The position can be located in Wyomissing, PA, Morrisville, NC or Maple Grove, MN
 

Project Quantum is a global strategic initiative within Teleflex. The key objectives of this project includes designing and deploying global PLM and MDM processes and systems. These processes and systems are required for governing the creation and change of product related data, ensuring consistency and accuracy. 
This role is part of the Global Quantum PLM Business Team, working closely with the Global Cross functional Quantum Team working towards the successful delivery of Project Quantum’s goals and objectives. The primary focus of the PLM initiative will be continuing to aligning Business Units, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing and the other functions in the creation and adoption of the global PLM process and system.
 

Principal Responsibilities

 

  • Project Champion,
  • Subject Matter Expert for global change management process and product data,
  • Own and execute business and technical PLM deliverables associated with the project:
  • Update and maintain business requirements based on the business needs,
  • Support PLM requirement and design changes to align with DSD Interface needs.
  • Resolution of business process defects,
  • Maintain the list of potential system enhancements,
  • Prepare and stage data as necessary to support testing,
  • Create test scenarios and test scripts, to facilitate system / enhancement testing,
  • Support execution of formal test cycles,
  • Defect logging and retesting,
  • SME for key change management processes.
  • Mapping current state process to future state process as required for global process rollout,
  • Support updates to the data transformation rules and transformation logic,
  • Effective collaboration with other Quantum workstreams (MDG, Data, Quality, OCM etc.),
  • Support the sites during the creation of manual data load sheets.
  • Input into the maintenance of Work instructions to support the PLM system,
  • Support training material design & associated staged data requirements,
  • End user training,
  • Support PLM planning, execution, monitoring & controlling to support successful program delivery.
     

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor (or equivalent) degree in an engineering discipline;
  • 10+ years experience in an Engineering, Quality or Regulatory role involved in NPI or Sustaining engineering product changes in the Medical device industry,
  • Fully Trained in Oracle Agile PLM, 
  • Trained in Design Control, and Change Control essential, (AAMI Design Control training preferred),
  • Product data knowledge (Meta data, BOMs, DHF, DMR, UDI),
  • Six Sigma and/or Project Management qualifications would be advantageous,

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Extensive experienced in the use of Oracle Agile PLM, 
  • Experience with SAP (ECC6) preferred (Specifically knowledge of BOMs, Routers and Inspection Plans),
  • Extensive experience working with Teleflex’s product data including UDI data,
  • Experience of NPI, product sustaining design changes and manufacturing transfers.
  • Strong people management skills, and experience managing stakeholder expectations,
  • Good problem solving & decision making ability working towards innovative solutions.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills,
  • Comfortable working with all levels of the organisation, including presentation to management,
  • Experience managing cross functional teams,
  • Experience with performing validation on systems,
  • Organized: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities.
