Position Summary
The Director of Enterprise Excellence for the Americas will use their Leadership, Business Acumen and Enterprise Excellence expertise to lead and develop their team to consistently deliver high value results and capability. The incumbent must be a well planned and organized situational leader and decision maker who use data, compassion and accountability to develop a culture of teamwork and results.
The Director of Enterprise Excellence for the Americas will drive transformative initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain operations in the Americas region. The individual in this position will be responsible for shaping and deploying the strategic roadmap for operational transformation, ensuring the effective implementation of lean management systems, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, and driving key initiatives such as Lean leadership development and cost improvement programs. As a transformational leader, the Director will work closely with site leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in execution and measurable outcomes aligned with corporate objectives.
Principal Responsibilities
Organization Capability
• Proactively manages performance and team dynamics to maintain a fair, professional, and high-performance environment aligned with company values. Develops individual and organizational capabilities to build bench strength while delivering results now and into the future.
Serve as a Key Leader in Driving Regional Strategy and Delivery of Results
• Lead the development and execution of the strategic plans and transformation roadmaps for the Americas region.
• Align strategic initiatives with global priorities, ensuring a cohesive approach to performance improvement across all sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and engagement at every level of the organization.
Integrated Management Systems & Structures
• Design, implement, and sustain effective lean management systems that enable consistent performance measurement and operational control.
• Ensure the right organizational structures and processes are in place to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals at all manufacturing and supply chain sites.
Develop Lean Leadership Capabilities
• Build and strengthen Lean leadership throughout the region by providing guidance, training, and coaching to site leaders.
• Develop a strong culture of Lean thinking, encouraging leadership teams to apply Lean methodologies for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Cost Improvement Program (CIP) Leadership
• Demonstrates initiative and critical thinking to identify and prioritize both process and performance gaps. Develops solutions and leads the team to deliver improving results. Serves as a leader to exemplify continuous improvement of thought processes and focus.
• Lead the regional Cost Improvement Program (CIP), identifying, prioritizing, and executing initiatives that drive sustainable cost savings.
• Spearheaded the development and execution of technology/factory automation roadmaps across the region.
• Collaborate with site and regional leadership to optimize resources and increase overall profitability whilst maintaining or enhancing safety, quality, and service.
Foster a Continuous Learning Environment
• Promote a continuous learning and improvement culture by implementing best practices and fostering innovation across all sites.
• Create training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities to expand the capabilities and capacities of teams at every level.

Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or operational excellence roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
• Proven track record of successfully deploying Lean methodologies, managing large-scale transformation programs, and leading cost reduction initiatives in a global or multi-site setting.
• Experience working within a regulated industry (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or similar) is a strong plus.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in Lean tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).
• Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and results.
• Willingness to travel across the Americas region as needed.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $162,200 - 210,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
