Position Summary

The Capital Equipment Contract Specialist is responsible for the administration and support of capital equipment contracts, payment plans, and extended warranties. This role ensures the accurate processing of contract-related documents, pricing approvals, and reporting requests, while supporting cross-functional collaboration and compliance with internal and external requirements. The role also supports the management of ASK Kit exclusions, pricing, and renewals.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Administer capital equipment contracts, including payment plans and extended warranties.
  • Manage ASK Kit pricing, exclusions, and renewals in alignment with contract terms and business strategy.
  • Process load orders, agreements, and related documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the review and execution of capital and evaluation agreements.
  • Analyze data and conduct impact assessments to support contract proposals and pricing decisions.
  • Respond to and fulfill ad-hoc sales and pricing reporting requests.
  • Coordinate contract and pricing approvals through appropriate internal channels.
  • Maintain organized, electronic documentation of contracts, pricing, proposals, and analysis.
  • Serve as a liaison between Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and other departments to facilitate contract processes.
  • Utilize research tools to assess and meet the requirements of GPOs, IDNs, hospitals, surgery centers, distributors, and government agencies.
  • Recommend effective actions based on data analysis and contract evaluations.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of work in the related field. 
  • Minimum two years in an office environment working with reports and sales personnel

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to perform data extraction and manipulation, analyze data, and generate reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail required.
  • Understanding of general sales and marketing principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.  Knowledge of Access and PowerPoint experience a plus.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • SAP preferred
  • Knowledge of Access and PowerPoint is a plus
