Position Summary

As the Clinical Content Specialist, you will be responsible for transforming clinical outlines, faculty input, and strategic messaging into polished, presentation-ready content for physician education and training programs. This includes slide decks, speaker support materials, educational one-pagers, and internal reference documents. You do not need to be a medical writer, but you must be comfortable working with clinical material and capable of organizing complex information into clean, professional, audience-appropriate content.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Develop clear, compelling, and well-organized content from clinical outlines, event briefs, and subject matter expert input.
•    Create and format PowerPoint presentations for faculty speakers and internal trainers.
•    Write/edit copy for event materials including handouts, speaker talking points, and educational documents.
•    Collaborate with the Clinical, Marketing, and Events teams to ensure content is consistent, accurate, on time, and aligned with brand messaging.
•    Apply basic visual design best practices to make content presentation-ready (charts, icons, layout—not graphic design, but clean formatting).
•    Ensure clinical accuracy and adherence to review protocols, working closely with reviewers when needed.
•    Organize and maintain a shared content library for reuse and reference across events and regional needs.
•    Partner with Marketing and Clinical Affairs team to develop webinar content and conduct webinars with faculty and team members.
•    Attend strategic events where content is being presented to collect feedback and note future improvements
•    Present Professional Education and Clinical information.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred
•    Minimum of three years of experience in content creation, communications, medical education, or a related field.
•    Experience supporting events in the healthcare, medical device, or pharma industries
•    Familiarity with medical terminology, especially in urology or oncology
•    Basic design/layout skills or experience with Adobe or Canva
•    Experience working with clinical or technical content is strongly preferred
•    Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other international regulatory requirements with which Teleflex complies.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Proficiency in Microsoft (i.e. PowerPoint (required), familiarity with other presentation tools a plus
•    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•    Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
•    Strong work ethic and ability to operate independently.
•    Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
