Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner® and Turnpike® Catheters, AC3 Optimus™ Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and OnControl® Powered Bone Access System. Position Summary
This role involves supporting, troubleshooting, and instructing on the use and functionality of SolidWorks and SolidWorks Project Data Management (PDM) software. Additionally, the CAD/PDM Specialist will aid the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of CAD/PDM systems across multiple Teleflex business units, including training users on SolidWorks and PDM functionality to enhance efficiency and system adoption.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Troubleshooting and Support
• Work with end users to troubleshoot and resolve CAD/PDM system issues
• Build relationships with internal Teleflex support personnel at multiple sites and multiple levels
• Collaborate with external support personnel to address complex challenges
2. Documentation and Training
• Maintain documentation on CAD/PDM best practices through collaboration with end users
• Deliver user training to ensure proper usage and adoption of new systems and updates
• Promote CAD/PDM best practices, methods, and processes
3. Continuous Improvement
• Implement strategies for continuous improvement to enhance internal processes, operating efficiency, and end-user experience with CAD/PDM software
• Participate in internal user group meetings and provide training on new systems and upgrades
4. CAD/PDM Maintenance
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of CAD/PDM systems across multiple Teleflex business units and functions
• Maintain improvements to standardized PDM procedures to ensure consistency and data integrity
• Ensure compliance of CAD/PDM systems with established design control and regulatory requirements
• Additional duties as assigned.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s or technical degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Computer Systems (IT) or related field preferred.
• Advanced training in Engineering Drafting and Design CAD/CAM preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in the design and development of medical devices, preferred.
• 1-3 years of industry experience with SolidWorks and Project Data Management (PDM) systems
• Experience with Oracle Agile PLM software or equivalent systems preferred.

1. Regulatory and Standards Compliance
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.5-2009 Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards, including GD&T

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings and manage dynamic workloads
• Strong time management skills with experience adhering to schedules and meeting timelines and user expectations

• Data-driven problem-solving approach with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under complex or ambiguous circumstances
4. Communication and Collaboration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)

• Effectively communicates and maintains records of work and solutions on a user by user/issue by issue basis
