Latin America - The Latin America Region of Teleflex is headquartered in Morrisville, North Carolina, and supports our customers, distributors, sales managers and specialists in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Puerto Rico. Position Summary
The Sales Training Specialist for Latin America is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the region’s commercial training programs to enhance sales effectiveness and achieve business objectives. This role works closely with the Training Manager, Marketing, and Commercial teams to implement training initiatives that build product knowledge, clinical understanding, and selling capabilities across the sales organization. This individual plays a key role in delivering high-quality training programs, supporting new product launches, and reinforcing field execution through ongoing education and coaching. The Training Specialist ensures training content is effectively deployed, culturally relevant, and aligned with regional and global strategies.
Principal Responsibilities
• Support Execution of Regional Training Programs
o Assist in the implementation of commercial training initiatives aligned with business objectives and go-to-market strategies.
• Partner with Marketing & Commercial Teams
o Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to support the translation of product strategy and messaging into effective training materials and field execution.
• Facilitate training sessions focused on:
o Product and clinical knowledge
o Sales skills and methodology
o Competitive positioning
o Territory and account management
• New Product Launch Support
o Assist in the development and delivery of training for new product launches, including preparation of training materials and field readiness activities.
• Training Content Development & Localization
o Support the creation, adaptation, and localization of training materials to meet regional needs, ensuring alignment with global standards and cultural relevance.
• Field Training & Coaching Support
o Provide in-field training support and reinforcement to sales teams, including participation in field visits and coaching activities as needed.
• New Hire Onboarding Support
o Assist in onboarding programs by coordinating logistics, delivering training sessions, supporting certification processes, and tracking new hire progress.
• Training Metrics & Reporting
o Support the tracking and reporting of training effectiveness through assessments, participation metrics, and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance
o Ensure all training materials and activities comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Support Commercial Meetings & Events
o Assist with training components of regional meetings, workshops, and product launch events.
• Ensure Ethical Standards & Compliance
o Adhere to and support compliance with the company’s Code of Ethics and all corporate policies and procedures.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) required
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in medical device sales, marketing, or a related commercial role
• Experience supporting or delivering training programs, including classroom and/or virtual formats
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills required
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills in both classroom and virtual environments
• Self-directed and able to work independently while handling multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback that drives performance improvement.
• Fluent in Spanish and English required; Portuguese proficiency strongly preferred
• Strong clinical acumen with the ability to translate anatomy & physiology, procedural knowledge, and clinical data into practical sales education
• Proficiency with learning technologies, sales enablement platforms, and Microsoft Office applications

Working Conditions / Physical Demands
TRAVEL REQUIRED: 50 % in the field and 50% in one of our regional offices. The regional offices include:
México City
Bogotá, Colombia
Sao Paulo, Brazil
Santiago, Chile.
