Position Summary
Reporting to the Finance Manager LATAM, this position is responsible for leading the consolidation, reporting, planning, and analysis of Operating Expenses (OpEx) and Inventory Reserves across the LATAM region. The role serves as a key business partner to regional Finance and Operations teams, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information while providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
The Sr. Finance Analyst will own the regional OpEx and E&O reporting processes, drive forecasting and annual planning activities, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and identify financial risks and opportunities. This individual is expected to influence decision-making through data-driven analysis, strong financial acumen, and proactive stakeholder engagement across multiple LATAM entities.
Principal Responsibilities
- Lead the consolidation and analysis of LATAM Operating Expenses (OpEx) and Excess & Obsolete (E&O) Inventory Reserves, ensuring accurate and timely reporting across all entities.
- Own the regional OpEx and E&O financial calendar, coordinating month-end close, forecast, budget, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) activities.
- Drive the preparation, consolidation, and review of monthly forecasts and annual plans, challenging assumptions and identifying financial risks and opportunities.
- Perform variance analysis against Actuals, Forecast, AOP, and Prior Year results, providing meaningful explanations and actionable recommendations to management.
- Prepare quarterly rollforwards, management reports, and executive-level presentations to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with Controllers, Finance teams, HR, Supply Chain, Commercial, and other business functions to provide financial guidance and support operational initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and proactively recommend actions to optimize spending and improve profitability.
- Support inventory reserve analysis, including E&O assessments and related reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the U.S. Accounts Payable team and regional stakeholders to ensure timely invoice processing and expense recognition.
- Develop, standardize, and enhance financial reporting tools, models, and dashboards to improve visibility, efficiency, and decision support.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and financial reporting requirements.
- Support ad hoc analyses, business cases, and special projects as required by Finance leadership.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• +5 years of experience in a finance role
• Local GAAP Knowledge
• Strong knowledge in Office, excel, working with huge volume of data.
• Fluent in English required.
• Experience in Power BI/Hanna/HFM
• ERP SAP 6.0

• Hands-on finance professional with a strong focus on accuracy and results.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Proven experience in consolidating financial information across multiple teams and regions.

• Highly responsible with strong attention to detail and accountability in financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Performs effectively under pressure while ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Solid understanding of data privacy, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly.
• High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
