Position Summary

Government Sales Analyst supports Government Sales area in the preparation to participate in all type of Public Tenders directly or through dealer networking.   Responsible to support management of active public contracts in order to streamline their correct supply, progress analysis as well as prepare required documentation.  Provide support to internal involved operational areas to fulfill required supply and conditions: Customer Service, Logistics, Collection, Regulatory, Quality.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Support Government Sales area to prepare Public tenders, Direct Purchases, Price quotes, and Government industry supply surveys.  
•    Carry out directly at Hospitals needed institutional procedures for the opening, maintenance and closing of public contracts. Included also on-site support efforts to assist and facilitate government new accounts onboarding and fulfillment of requirements in coordination with other support areas.
•    Carry out and keep track of the progress of products delivered at current government contracts to generate various analysis reports: deliveries, fines, backorders, cancellations, collection, tender bonds, among others.
•    Control of contracts, guarantees and various documents for compliance to support the local and foreign collection area in order to facilitate updated reviews complying with procedures and policies of each Institution.
•    Ensure with internal support areas the compliance in quantity and timeliness supply of purchase orders received from public institutions warehouses and pharmacies of IMSS, ISSSTE, SEDENA, PEMEX, SSA, CCINSHAE, etc.
•    Elaborate and present needed management reports related to bids and public contracts.
•    Manage and develop relationships of key contacts at each institution for the successful achievement of contracts maximum quantities supply and support all internal areas to solve operational problems.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in Administrative areas with proven experience managing public tenders participating with medical devices. 
•    Minimum of three years working with Medical Device companies directly involved in preparing Government Tenders and administrative processes supplying public contracts.
•    Experience with medical devices sales preferred
•    Self-directed, able to work independently, and ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and function in fast pace. 
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Responsibilities requires office work and out of the office visits at Hospital and Public Institutions
•    Experience with platforms:  Compranet, SAI, Sistema Nacional de Distribucion de Medicamentos.
•    Excellent interpersonal/customer relations skills; good verbal and written communications; ability to coordinate and obtain results working with multiple functional areas.
•    English written and verbal - Intermediate
•    Proficiency working with Excel and PowerPoint 
•    Desirable experience working with CRM systems - SalesForce; ERP – SAP system.
