Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, plays a critical role in driving overall marketing efficiency and effectiveness; visibility into marketing performance by focusing on technologies, reporting and analytics; and instituting best-in-class operational processes. This role will also lead the coordination between Interventional Demand Planning and Global Supply Chain, Operations and Customer Service.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Identify and implement core technologies, applications and tools to create repeatable, consistent practices and processes that drive operational efficiencies across the marketing organization and deliver insights to support and evolve marketing strategies and tactics.
o    Develop and maintain a martech requirements and technology roadmap to meet the changing needs of the business and benefit from technology innovation.
o    Partner closely and work collaboratively with IT on integrating marketing ecosystem and technologies into the overall organizational infrastructure.
o    Train and support marketing colleagues to ensure team alignment and consistency and guarantee adherence to best practices.
o    Maintain the integrity of marketing data, technology integrations and all related processes across the martech stack and infrastructure to ensure proper data usage.
o    Technology vendor management and cross BU / global partnerships, including contract negotiations and renewals and budget allocation.
•    Establish operational excellence within the marketing organization and cross-functional collaboration and alignment to support key business strategies, goals and objectives.
o    Implement best practice across the marketing organization through a foundation of streamlined processes and strong project management to develop agile style, prioritized and project centric methods of work.
o    Design, develop, maintain and improve core operations processes to support collaboration, communication and alignment across other functions.
o    Review and enhance marketing organization design and capabilities, ensuring critical skills and aptitudes are developed to maximize flexibility, efficiency and results.
o    Establish operational budget oversight to align expenses to marketing activities.
•    Provide visibility into overall marketing impact and insight into marketing’s contribution to overall business growth, identify areas to optimize, make recommendations that drive areas of marketing activity improvement.
o    Support the marketing team through reporting and data analysis and tracking performance and impact to the business to enable data-driven decisions.
o    Set up program-specific dashboards to measure both quantitative and qualitative results.
o    Develop performance measurement and analytics to demonstrate the effectiveness, output and ROI of the marketing organization and link strategic initiatives to revenue results.
•    Provide leadership by communicating direction, establishing challenging goals, setting high standards and expectations, developing talented people and recognizing outstanding contributions. Manage, direct, develop, and coach a team of marketing professionals.
•    Adhere to and ensure the adherence of Teleflex Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Master’s degree in a business-related or technical field preferred
•    BA degree in a business-related or technical field required
•    7+ years of operations or a combination of operations and marketing experience required
•    Minimum 5 years of progressive product, marketing management, marketing operations or service experience in the medical device industry
