Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner® and Turnpike® Catheters, AC3 Optimus™ Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and OnControl® Powered Bone Access System. Position Summary

The Sales Training Manager is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing initiatives of the Teleflex Interventional business unit through management of the Interventional Sales Training programs. Supported by the Director of Training, the Sales Training Manager will oversee the coordination, and facilitation of existing training programs, as well as assist in the design and development of any additional product, procedure, and/or business tool training as required by the business unit.  

Principal Responsibilities

•    Manage all activities related to new and existing sales training programs, including the Field Sales Trainer program
•    Collaborate with the other functions within training to design and develop engaging learning experiences
•    Communicate and interact with new hires through the onboarding process
•    Maintain new and existing curriculum
•    Assist in the delivery of approved new hire training content, as well as handle all training logistics for classroom, field and web-based training
•    Assess program effectiveness and adjust as needed to ensure ongoing training success
•    Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on the development of education and training materials to enhance the sales teams selling skills 
•    Assist with research of new training approaches & programs that can be provided to advance the skills of the sales team
•    Assist in the management of training materials through the Medical and Legal review committee
•    Build and develop strong, sustainable relationships with internal and external partners through quarterly field rides
•    Stay current with training technology by attending professional meetings and trainer development events
•    Stay current on company products and services, best practices, as well as relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information
•    Successfully complete all required training and demonstrate an understanding of our products

Education / Experience Requirements

•    5 years of relevant medical device sales or marketing experience
•    Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
•    Demonstrated leadership
•    Sales Training Experience (preferred)
•    Clinical knowledge of interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, structural heart and/or peripheral vascular (preferred)
•    Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel, Word, and PPT; web & email 
•    Demonstrated experience in managing priorities/resources and initiatives
