Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner® and Turnpike® Catheters, AC3 Optimus™ Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and OnControl® Powered Bone Access System. Position Summary

Works as an extended team member with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, Design Assurance, Regulatory, and R&D to develop medical devices. Works with Design, Product, and Process Development Engineering to develop products that meet market and regulatory requirements.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Applies engineering and scientific principles while generating product designs/concepts.
•    Plans and executes assigned actions to meet overall project deadlines.
•    Completes protocols and reports and transfer qualified new products/processes to Operations.
•    Clearly presents ideas and facts both verbally and in writing.
•    Demonstrates excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
•    Builds partnerships and collaborates with others to meet shared objectives.
•    Works effectively in a diverse group, respecting different ideas, perspectives and values.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    BA/BS in Engineering or physical sciences required, or equivalent applicable experience.
•    No previous experience required. 
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Possesses a working knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements.
•    Understands basic anatomy of human circulatory systems.
