Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist.  Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner™ and Turnpike™ Catheters, Ringer™ Perfusion Balloon Catheter, AC3 Optimus™ and AC3 Range™ Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps and the OnControl™ Powered Bone Access System. Position Summary

This position will develop and implement commercialization strategies to support the financial objective attainment for the MANTA™ Large Bore Closure product portfolio. This role will involve collaborating cross functionally with Marketing Leadership, Sales, Operations, Regulatory & Quality, Legal, and Clinical Medical Affairs for downstream commercial activities.

 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Marketing Leadership, Sales, Marketing Communications, and Strategic Product Management to develop comprehensive marketing strategies, tactics, and messaging
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and understanding of key industry dynamics and trends
  • Network with colleagues in other franchises and cross-functional departments to enhance own franchise systems and processes to accomplish “best in class” business objectives
  • Partner with franchise management to formulate market segmentation, product positioning, and messaging
  • Maintain strong, consistent, and clear communication with all stakeholders on a continual basis
  • Represent the ‘voice of the customer’ - drive optimal utilization of market information and analysis to guide insights and decision-making
  • Generate impactful claims with Engineering, Clinical Medical Affairs, Marketing Communications, and Strategic Marketing to drive growth in competitive markets
  • Create and manage product line materials, collateral, sales tools, and training
  • Partner with Marketing Operations on pricing analysis to ensure product and revenue growth targets are maximized
  • Be the subject matter expert - including clinical, procedural, and product level knowledge
  • Ensure development and delivery of relevant sales training that meets targeted clinical procedures/requirements
  • Organize and conduct project updates with business unit and executive leadership teams
  • Interface with health care providers and key opinion leaders at industry events and within the care setting
  • All activities must be performed in compliance with the Teleflex Quality System
  • Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Education / Experience Requirements

•    2+ years of medical device product management experience
•    Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
•    Master’s Degree (preferred)
•    Demonstrable experience managing commercialization initiatives in the medical device industry
•    Experience interacting with international markets
•    Familiarity with claims generation, competitive analysis, and positioning highly technical products
•    Strong computer skills

•    Ability to develop and communicate marketing plans to develop appropriate communications program strategies and tactics
•    Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment from concept through development, review and timely implementation required
•    Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
•    Highly detail oriented
•    Excels at building strong relationships both internally, in a heavily matrixed environment, and externally across diverse partnerships
•    Superior writing, editing, and presentation skills
•    Ability to work within the constraints of a regulated industry while maintaining and elevating creative outputs
•    Understanding of products, use in procedures, and customer segmentation
•    Understanding of overall healthcare environment/landscape
•    Ability to make timely, strategic decisions in an ambiguous, face-paced environment
•    Solid business acumen 
•    Experience with successful product and brand launches
•    Robust project management skills
•    Experience creating effective messaging 

 

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 30 %

 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $100,500-$150,800; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided to employees who receive an offer of employment.
