Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner® and Turnpike® Catheters, AC3 Optimus™ Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and OnControl® Powered Bone Access System. Position Summary

Develops and implements the marketing communications plans and associated projects in support of the Interventional Cardiology/Radiology Strategic Business Unit under the direction of others.  The Specialist will partner with key stakeholders—as well as cross-functional teams and agency partners--to develop and execute integrated/multi-channel marketing communications plans that support growth objectives, engage target audiences, and drive sales.  

Principal Responsibilities

For assigned BU franchises/product areas, serve as MarCom point in the development, creative direction, and on-time, on-brand execution of the following:
•    Marketing Communications strategies and tactics in support of new products launches and continuation campaigns
•    Trade show and event strategy planning, promotion and associated deliverables
•    Public Relations efforts (e.g., press releases) and internal (Investor Relations) and external (i.e., agency) coordination of distribution and media outreach
•    Digital Marketing efforts (e.g., corporate site and microsite content, social media campaigns, email marketing) promoting brand and product
•    Spec Sheets, Videos, Brochures, Presentations, Case Studies, Direct Mail, Email Blasts
•    Measurement and reporting

For assigned areas of responsibility, manage or provide:
•    Message development
•    Copywriting and editing of product-related content in accordance with current, approved product claims and style guidelines
•    Compliance with document control and change management processes
•    Compliance with corporate brand guidelines
•    Understanding of and compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines
•    Management and maintenance of creative assets and source files 
•    Vendor management, including creation of briefing documents, procurement of statements of work, budget management, and invoice processing 
•    Marketing communication budget level initiatives
•    Effective relationships with professional societies
•    Liaison with Corporate Brand marketing

Education / Experience Requirements

•    2+ years of medical device, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical communications experience
•    Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
•    Strong computer skills, especially MS Excel, Word, and PPT; Adobe Creative Suite experience; digital marketing experience

•    Superior writing, editing, and presentation skills
•    Ability to translate complex concepts and market needs into clear and compelling  communications platforms and deliverables
