Interventional - The Interventional business unit at Teleflex offers innovative medical devices that are used to diagnose and treat coronary and peripheral vascular diseases. We place a strategic emphasis on complex coronary and peripheral interventions, vascular access, bone access, specialty biologic treatments and cardiac assist. Our current Interventional products include a broad range of clinically relevant solutions, such as our GuideLiner® and Turnpike® Catheters, AC3 Optimus™ Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump and OnControl® Powered Bone Access System. Position Summary

The Marketing Communications Coordinator assists the Interventional Marketing Communications team through a variety of project-oriented and administrative tasks in support of ongoing department operations. Responsibilities include the management of regional events calendar and properties, coordination of content review processes, management/storage of collateral and other assets on business unit platforms and systems, and fulfillment of copyright use requests. This position is highly visible within the Teleflex Interventional business unit and will maintain on-going working relationships with marketing communications, marketing, sales, legal, CMA, executive leadership, other internal functions, and vendors.  Additional responsibilities will be assigned, as required.

Principal Responsibilities

Trade Shows and Events
•    Regional Events:
    Collaborate with AVPs and RSMs to prioritize regional events schedule and budget
    Track event requests  from the sales force 
    Initiate event registrations on behalf of business unit and field attendees, negotiating fees/placement/sponsorships as needed; archive show materials and receipts
    Coordinate shipping of exhibit properties with third-party exhibit house
    Order onsite A/V and electrical requirements from third parties, as needed
    Share all pertinent event information and logistics with company attendees
    Track Regional Events budget and maintain accurate records for sponsored events and meetings. Review and reconcile event-related invoices and submit for payment.  Maintain records of event specifics, including event prospectus, host organization W9s, financial details and historical information.
    Schedule and host debrief calls 
    Submit new vendors for entry into payment system

•    National Events:
    Coordinate pack list with product marketing
    Order collateral as needed

Department Operations
•    Generate weekly Agile review priority list and schedule/host weekly calls with review team
•    Generate Agile monthly reports and share as requested
•    Generate and track an aging report for approved materials
•    Manage trademark list and associated updates
•    Update event materials (e.g., tabletops, invites, banners) as needed 
•    Coordinate routing of Training materials
•    Support MarCom managers with assigned franchise marcom activities as needed
•    Ensure the latest versions of approved materials are loaded across relevant platforms/systems (w.g., ACTO, INTV 360 app, website, microsite); perform audits as needed
•    Manage assets on Digital Asset Management system (DAM) or equivalent
•    Invoice tracking and submission
•    Coordinate archival of collateral materials and images
•    Serve as point of contact for copyright use requests
•    Post and monitor content on Teleflex Academy, YouTube, and Yammer (internal social channel)
•    Proofread content generated by team members
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) required, preferably in Marketing and/or Communications.
•    One + years of experience in professional setting or equivalent (internships, work studies, etc.); experience in a regulated industry is a plus; project management and/or event planning experience highly desirable.
•    Demonstrated experience in handling complex tasks with multiple stakeholders and achieving goals within time frame and budget.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required. 
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Ability to quickly learn new tools easily.
•    Excellent written, oral/presentation and interpersonal communications skills. Editing skills a plus.
•    Detail orientation with excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while tracking to deadlines. 
•    Self-motivated, creative solutions-oriented team player. 
•    Quantitative and analytical skills are needed to formulate and follow budgets as well as to understand and negotiate contracts. 
•    Ability to work with a variety of teams and individuals--from outside vendors to our executive leadership and board members--with professionalism and courtesy.
•    Ability to lift 50 lbs. and carry a minimum of 25 lbs.
•    Ability to stand for a full working day when on-site at meetings and trade shows.
•    Understanding of and adherence to/compliance with the Teleflex Code of Ethics, Integrity Policies and Procedures (IPPs), all Company policies and procedures, rules, housekeeping standards, brand standards and Advamed Code of Ethics.
