Position Summary

The Manufacturing Technology Technician Intern will partner with the manufacturing engineering and operations teams on a variety of projects and assignments to contribute to the overall business unit objectives.  This internship will focus on Workplace Organization, Operator Asset Care and review maintenance procedures in the Computerized Maintenance Management System.  

Principal Responsibilities

•    Actively support implementation of the Site Operating Standards.
•    Actively develop, teach, and utilize process improvement methodologies to:

o    Collaborates cross-functionally with engineers for change management.
o    Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Must be enrolled in trade school or community college.
•    Preferred candidate is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently.
•    Solid working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
•    Willingness to learn and ask questions.
