Position Summary

Full-time internship during the summer (May-August 2024), based in Mansfield, MA with potential to continue support part-time through holidays/school year. This position is responsible for supporting the engineering department with documentation, project work, equipment upkeep, and other areas as required. 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Assist in performing dimensional testing.
•    Assist in writing and performing validation protocols.
•    Document results and other related paperwork per Good Documentation Practice.
•    Completes all related activities in compliance with GMP and ISO regulations within safety guidelines.   
•    Support customer complaint investigation activities.
•    Support Nonconformance completion activities.
•    Provide other departmental support as requested by the immediate supervisor.
•    Support data collection process under improvement projects identified. 
•    Collect, analyze, and present data to the project team and manager.
•    Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Quality System, Teleflex’s Code of Conduct, all Company policies, safety rules, applicable procedures, and housekeeping standards.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Highschool graduate currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science related field. 
•    Knowledge and experience of working in the medical device industry or laboratory environment preferred.
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
•    Experience with SAP and Minitab preferred.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization required.
•    Accurate typing and data entry skills required.
•    Ability to work independently and efficiently.
•    Basic statistics knowledge preferred. 
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy.
