Position Summary
The Clinical Specialist delivers professional procedural education programs to surgeons, OR staff, and sales representatives to achieve exceptional clinical outcomes for patients.
As an integral member of the Clinical and Medical Affairs (CMA) team, this position will support case coverage, peer-to-peer training, conference in-booth simulator training and other training activities.
Working with CMA Director the post holder will promote CMA goals and mission statement that will facilitate legal compliance with HCP interactions and education delivery.
The Clinical Specialist will be part of a team that will include Clinical Specialists and Clinical Educators within EMEA to support the growing need for education.
The Clinical Specialist will provide approved educational material and content that is in compliance with the Off Label and Promotion Activities Policies. As an Education Specialist, the training and educational needs of clinicians and institutions will be assessed, in partnership with the commercial team and CMA Director and a plan will be developed and implemented.
Overall performance will be driven through the effective delivery of the specified education programs to assure appropriate and safe utilization and adoption of the designated Teleflex products that focuses on superior education resulting in optimal patient care.
This position requires high calibre training experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform at high-levels independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Principal Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
• As an integral part of the CMA team, performance will be measured on delivery of assigned procedural education, its customer evaluations and feedback from the CMA Director in collaboration with the EMEA Urology Commercial Team.

Case Coverage
• Deliver approved educational programs.
• Support case coverage primarily in France but also other EMEA markets as required.
• Support Clinician case training, including New clinicians, Advanced Anatomy and Advanced Techniques
• Partner with Commercial Team to cover regular cases.
Peer-to-Peer
• Deliver a positive learning experience that builds champions through screening, vetting, and conducting peer to peer engagements and programs for urologist and faculty.
• Run peer-to-peer events in compliance with Teleflex EMEA HCP Policy.
• Provide advanced training and technical education for clinicians to advance independence.
• Support vetting, training, and onboarding of faculty clinicians.
New Hire Training
• Support the delivery of training programs, including online programs, simulators, and live presentations for the Sales team and faculty.
• Facilitate hands-on clinical training at New Hire Orientation
Other
• Partner with key stakeholders to develop webinar content and conduct webinars with faculty and team members.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide customers a company touch point.
• Facilitate clinical breakout sessions as needed at meetings.
• Present Professional Education and Clinical information.
• Work with the CMA Director to manage training logistics, budgeting, and training costs for Professional Education events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Keep current with medical literature, clinical initiatives/guideline and industry trends and communicate with the appropriate sales team and distributors.

Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in a clinical or science-based field or equivalent.
• Registered Healthcare Professional.
• At least 3 years of professional training or OR-based sales experience.
• Demonstrated clinical mastery related to medical devices and urology experience preferred.
• Professional work ethic, strong organizational skills, and the ability to perform at high levels independently.
• Strong interpersonal skill and experience of training HCPs in the clinical setting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English..
• Advanced MS Office skills to develop effective reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Valid driving license
• Ability to travel within specified geographical area. The role should ideally be based in the United Kingdom.
• Travel up to 80% with some overnight stays as required.
• Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with MedTech Europe Code of Ethics and other international regulatory requirements.
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Up to 80%.
