Position Summary

Principal Responsibilities

•    Performs development/configuration and maintenance of SAP SCM objects.
•    Supports period-end Settlement process with Finance team and related Costing topics.
•    Develop system documentation to support system requirements.
•    Support functional and/or technical reviews of IT design documentation with the development team.
•    Provide day to day support for SAP SCM functions.
•    Evaluate, develop, test, and implement system changes as they relate to SCM functionality.
•    Deliver solutions that meet business requirements and ensure goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
•    Participate in projects and rollouts of the SAP application as a team member.
•    Share ideas, information and knowledge to accomplish collaboration for the success of the team, project, or task.
•    Perform other related duties as assigned.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in technical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering. A combination of education and super-user experience with SAP PP, MM may be considered in lieu of a degree.
•    Minimum 3 - 5 years Production planning, Material Master support experience.
•    Participation in one or more SAP PP, MM implementations or other large-scale projects would be an advantage.
•    Experience in an FDA regulated environment preferred.
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Experience working with ABAP developers. 
•    Knowledge of SAP QM and its integration points would be an advantage. 
•    Knowledge of EDI and interfaces to ERP systems.
•    Knowledge of Master data objects such as Vendor Master, Material Master, Purchase Information Records, Source Lists, Bills of Materials, and Routings.
•    Background in troubleshooting and providing application support.
•    Strong communication skills (oral and written).
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently.
•    Must be able to work effectively with cross functional groups and a geographically dispersed user base.
•    Ability to work in a virtual environment.
