Position Summary
1. Must be in production area, observing the process of people entry, discipline, conditions, unsafe acts, and incidents, acting immediately if required.
2. Analyze at the time of shift start, the behaviors of the leaders and associates ensuring that leader walks the line filling out the operational readiness check list to ensure that the line is ready to start operations and meets with associates and holds a kick-off meeting.
3. Holds L1 meeting after stabilizing the lines, gather the champions and the support team and bring the appropriate information about how the shift started, to ensure the flow of information and assign priorities.
4. Directly supervise the production team to ensure production targets, in term of quality, labor standards and maintain a safety and healthy work environment.
5. Leads the frontline team and is the certified Job Instructor for delivering OTJ training to each Material Handler.
6. Ensure the KPI’s (metrics), that the team understand and participate in the proper filing of the metrics and can analyze trends and discover areas of opportunity.
7. Ensures that the activities of shift closure, the use of ILMS tools and the established time for stopping the lines are carried out properly, ensuring a safe and orderly exit of the personnel.
8. Evaluate, recommend, and implement lean and root-cause-analysis based measures, which result in continuous improvement in production methods, equipment performance, product quality, integrity, and efficiency.
9. Plan resources to production schedules issued by Demand Fulfillments.
10. Ensure that all direct reports are trained and certified for the area of their responsibility, and they are constantly improving their skills in performing their job.
11. Ensure that all report and quality record are accurate, reviewed and signed off per GMP requirements.
12. Ensure that all operations carried out are within the specifications as written in the procedures and work instructions. Liaise with Process Engineer and Quality Engineer when equipment or process parameters are out of control.
13. Communicating production goals and targets to the team and motivating them to achieve them.
14. Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs.
15. Manage maintenance and calibration of production equipment/ tools/ jigs.
16. Maintain accurate attendance, performance, and disciplinary records on all production personnel in the designated production area.
17. Provides production information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding to requests.
18. Oversee stock locations on SAP, raise cycle counts and investigate stock variances.
19. Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
20. Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
21. Performs performance evaluations for subordinates reporting to him / her.
22. Trained in value stream mapping and participated in an event for his / her area.
23. Upkeep and maintain production areas using 6S and Lean Manufacturing principles.

Education / Experience Requirements
Qualification : Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Manufacturing/Technology or Supply Chain Management - Minimum
Experience : Minimum 3 years proven shop floor operations leadership/supervisory experience in a multi-functional manufacturing environment
