Position Summary

1.    Knowledge of production processes and procedures with ability to perform the process very well prior train the operators.
2.    Have strong production knowledge, skills in written and oral communication, as well as the ability to communicate and understand procedural instructions and safety issues.
3.    Work closely with the Engineering and Quality team to ensure process changes are incorporated and complying with the procedures by developing new effective production training techniques and deliver following 4 steps Method: preparation, presentation, application, and evaluation; to the operators thru TWI (Training Within Industry – JI (Job Instructions) Training.
4.    Trains manufacturing operators on a variety of manufacturing processes in accordance with product conformance and specifications at workstations and in the classroom, including, but not limited to processes, equipment operation (setup, operation, cleaning, troubleshooting), documentation handling, material handling, etc.
5.    Develop, review and revise training material such as On-the-Job Trainings (OJTs), Job Instruction Breakdown (JIB), PowerPoint presentations, and training documents in compliance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) requirements.
6.    Coordinate, conduct, and document training sessions as required on Standard Production Method Procedures (SPMs) and other related procedure as per defined in DL Training Matrix.
7.    Ensures employees adhere to procedures and guidelines established by the company to minimize errors and safety risks besides certify production operator on safe operation of all hazardous equipment with EHS Engineer and Manufacturing Supervisor.
8.    Evaluates progress of each employee during the training period and upon the completion of the training; provides feedback to the employee on their progress thru DL Learning Curve tracking mechanism; other training elements through Power Bi and Operations Training Hub.
9.    Assesses the employee’s competency level against the requirements established by the operations department for each process or skill.
10.    Identifies gaps in the employee’s skill level thru Skill Matrix to determine the need for additional training and/or performance management; communicates the identified gaps to the immediate supervisor or operations department.
11.    Maintains training database, records of training and other documentation inclusive establish consistent documentation practices across operations, audit documentation to ensure compliance.
12.    Identify potential quality problems, compliance gaps, and possible process efficiency improvements to production management.
13.    Participates and contributes to projects to meet department goals and objectives such as in Training Effectiveness and Site Operating System (SOS) activities.
14.    Must be willing to be flexible and rotate between various Value Stream and shifts pattern in the operation based on business needs.

Principal Responsibilities

Education / Experience Requirements

Qualification    :
-Min SPM or equivalent required

Experience    :  
-Preferably minimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing or even in
training production personnel or in education background.
-A firm understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and QS requirements.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and tools besides with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Skill in preparing instructional aids with pictorial and video editing. Excellent communication and presentation skills
