Position Summary

Principal Responsibilities

1.    To assist Production in reviewing, improving and ensuring current production processes are optimized.
2.    Manages and trains machine operators  and coordinates activities of engineering support to design, tooling, project, develop, produce, improve, test components and products.
3.    Responsible and design tooling’s for Extrusion, Blow molding, Injection molding and look for improvements
4.    To assist production in process problem solving and ensuring quality and productivity requirement are achieves.
5.    Plans and establishes engineering schedules and follows up performance against estimates.
6.    Manage projects regarding Engineering matters, i.e., procurement of equipments, raw material, Extrusion, Blow Molding and Injection Molding tooling’s.
7.    To support in the development of new tooling’s and jig/ fixtures.
8.    Analyzes technology trends, human resource needs and market demand to plan projects
9.    Confers with management, manufacturing, QA and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness and customer demand for new and existing product.
10.    Plans and establishes engineering schedules and follows up performance against estimates
11.    Manages development of material selection standards.
12.    Initiates cost reduction proposals from internal and external sources, compiles appropriate information.
13.    Ensures compliance of company policies, procedures and objectives.
14.    Ensure that the department is incompliance with all DOE, DOSH, Corporate EHS and BOMBA              requirements.
15.    To develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with immediate superior.
16.    To determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing quotation from vendors and submit to immediate superior.
17.    To determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
18.    To confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
19.    To determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
20.    To maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
21.    To control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
22.    To prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
23.    To perform other related duties assigned by the superior
24.    To prepare and submit monthly report to direct superior on the previous month performance.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

Qualification        :    
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Polymer Science.

Experience        :    
Preferably 5 - 7 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
