Position Summary
We are seeking a highly competent and hands-on Senior Finance Manager / Finance Manager to lead and oversee the full spectrum of finance operations. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, accounting operations, treasury, statutory compliance, taxation, and internal controls while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership capabilities, solid technical accounting knowledge, and proven experience in a managerial role within a fast-paced manufacturing or multinational environment.
Principal Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the overall finance and accounting functions including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Intercompany Transactions (ICO)
Balance Sheet (BS) reconciliation and governance
GRIR (Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt) monitoring and resolution
AUC (Asset Under Construction) management
CAPEX accounting and control
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing.
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Lead statutory audit processes and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage company taxation matters including corporate tax, deferred tax, SST/GST/VAT compliance, and tax planning.
• Oversee treasury functions including cash flow management, banking facilities, forex exposure, and working capital management.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization within the finance organization.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic business decisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop finance team members to achieve departmental objectives.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Professional certification such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Experience in manufacturing and multinational company (MNC) environment will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and taxation regulations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
