Position Summary

The SAP SCM Analyst will support coordination, design, and implementation of developments and projects within our global Supply Chain organization ensuring consistency and alignment with company strategies, goals, processes, and procedures. 
The SCM Analyst will also support Business Continuity issues for the Teleflex organization and is expected to be a primary contributor in issue resolution and proactive solution development.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Ability to execute project deliverables as they relate to SAP SCM including assessment, requirements gathering, design, execution, validation, and implementation.
•    Requires good communication skills to liaise with business owners ensuring effective translation of business needs into technical requirements.
•    Implement, install, and manage SAP SCM solutions across the global organization.
•    Apply technical knowledge to all phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application to the current and future business environment.
•    Develop detailed system design documents to support system requirements that comply with Teleflex standards. Ensure maintenance of documentation and change control.
•    Conduct functional and/or technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with the development and design team members.
•    Assist with investigation of new systems and planned upgrades.
•    Participate in architectural decisions and provide input to leadership.
•    Evaluate, develop, test, and implement the release of system changes according to the Teleflex validation procedures.
•    Deliver consistently high-quality service and solutions that meet business requirements and ensure goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
•    Share ideas, information, knowledge, and data proactively to accomplish collaboration for the success of the team, project, or task.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in technical field such as Computer Science or Information Systems. A combination of education and experience with SAP SCM may be considered in lieu of a degree.
•    5 – 8 years SAP SCM configuration experience.
•    Experience in SAP SCM implementations.
•    Experience in an FDA-regulated environment would be an advantage.
•    Knowledge of Computer Systems Validation.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Knowledge in SAP SCM modules (MM, PP, PM, QM), Configuration, and Development cycle.
•    Some knowledge of SAP WM, SD modules would be an advantage. 
•    Experience designing and configuring SAP to incorporate new regulatory compliance business processes as required. 
•    Knowledge of EDI and interfaces to SAP.
•    Knowledge of Master data objects such as Vendor Master, Material Master, Purchase Information Records, Source Lists, Bills of Materials, and Routings.
•    Strong background in troubleshooting application errors and performance-related issues.
•    Strong communication (oral and written), negotiation, and presentation skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently and to execute concurrent tasks and responsibilities while dealing with changing priorities.
•    Must be able to work effectively with cross-functional groups and a geographically dispersed user base.
•    Ability to work in a virtual environment.
