Position Summary

Principal Responsibilities

1.    Plans, study and collects data to determine cost of project and savings activity such as overhead costs, MATERIAL costs, direct  labour and indirect labour costs. Possess experience in BOM , Routing and standard cost set-up.

2.    Analyses data obtained and record results.

3.    Analyses actual project costs and savings prepares periodic comparing to forecast and budget.
4.    Compiles cost information to be used in budget and forecast preparation, year-end and tax package  reporting and preparation of government reports. 
5.     Makes estimates on future project cost 6.    Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting the project
7.    To ensure the implementation and maintenance, within the department, of an effective management for occupational safety and health consistent with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and other legislative requirements.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

Qualification    :      

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or professional qualification e.g. CA/ACCA/CIMA/MICPA/CPA
min. 5 years experience            
         

Experience    :        

Prior working experience in the Finance Department of a large US based manufacturing would be an added advantage.

Specialized Skills:    

- Strong analytical background in budgeting and forecasting
- Prior working experience in the Finance Department of a large manufacturing would be an added advantage.
- Ability to develop ad hoc reports as requested
- QADS/JDE and Hyperion Financial Management strongly preferred; 
- proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
