Position Summary
Principal Responsibilities
• Perform routine microbiological testing (bioburden, environmental monitoring)
• Prepare microbiological media and reagents
• Conduct membrane filtration and colony enumeration
• Operate laboratory equipment (autoclave, incubators, etc.)
• Record and document test results in compliance with Good Documentation Practice
• Escalate any abnormal results to Lab Supervisor
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and housekeeping
• Support investigations and audit activities as assigned
Education / Experience Requirements
• Minimum Diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Medical Laboratory Technology, or related Life Science field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device microbiology laboratory is an advantage
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Basic knowledge of microbiological testing methods
• Familiarity with aseptic technique and membrane filtration
• Understanding of GMP and Good Documentation Practice
• Basic awareness of standards such as ISO 13485 and ISO 11737
