Position Summary

This position is responsible for the project administration of MDR Hazardous Material Substitution project initiatives through planning, executing and tracking projects from start to finish.  The PA demonstrates project administration ownership and guides teams through project objectives to an execution level.  The PA ensures consistent practices throughout all phases of the project life cycle and across functional teams.  Facilitate project team meetings, genrate meeting minutes and compiles monthly project updates and report to stakeholders.  Exercise a balance of independent judgment and group organization in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
The Project Administrator coordinates MDR team projects, facilitates weekly project meetings and reports on project status. 
This position requires a candidate with the ability to manage a broad set of activities and resources, as described below.
 

Principal Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following: 
1)    Responsible for the administration of project timelines, planning and project coordination of the global MDR Hazardous Material Substitution initiatives for the Anesthesia and Urological business units pertaining to MDR Hazardous Substitutions.  
2)    Effectively communicates, coordinates and drives project team actions items and deliverables for each MDR hazardous material substitution project.
3)    Facilitates meetings between MDR Engineers, the business units, manufacturing sites and vendors in a collaborative environment, 
4)    Maintain and monitor project budgets, working with project team resources to efficiently and effectively complete projects on time and to budget. 
5)    Administrating project-related activities to include project timeline management, coordination of weekly project team meetings, and monthly project status reports for each project team. 
6)    Prepare project summary reports, develop project plans, identifies risk and communicates mitigation activities. 
7)    Prepare and deliver project status presentations to business units and MDR team stakeholders regularly. 
8)    Partner with MDR, Technical and Manufacturing teams for portfolio management of specific product families affected by MDR Hazardous Substitutions
9)    Facilitate project team discussion to drive decisions among team / functional members to accomplish project and business goals.  
10)    Identify and analyze risks/opportunities to project timeline and budget.
11)    Adhere to all regulatory agency standards, company quality standards and corporate policies. 
12)    Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as business needs demand up to 20% of the time.
13)    Coordinate proper communication of project at site level in partnership with operations, quality, regulatory, planning and marketing to ensure project success.  
14)    Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex’s Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards. 
15)    Support other activities as required.
16)    Acts in accordance with all related legal requirements and/or other regulatory rules, internal and other standards.

Education / Experience Requirements

Education :
2 - 3 years’ experience in highly regulated industry or medical device, pharma or similar industry with experience leading large projects.
Engineering, Science or other appropriate 4 year degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience : 
Project management skills and experience.
People management skills and experience.
Experience Microsoft Project.

Must be fluent in English both written and oral.
The successful candidate must be prepared to travel as the role demands (typically up to 20% of the time). International travel required.
