Position Summary

Principal Responsibilities

1.    Support or technical projects within Design Control policies and Quality System procedures
2.    To support and coordinate projects with R&D Sustaining/ Value Engineering and responsible product design owners from project concept through execution
3.    Responsible to plan, coordinate and conduct the execution of design protocols (eg. Design validation and Verification), testing reports, specifications, device master record (DMR) and design history file (DHF) updates.
4.    Review of adequacy of product specification and support regulatory related remediation that involves product design or functionality.
5.    Utilize technical data and statistical analysis techniques such as measurement system analysis, process capability studies, DOEs, SPC tools etc.
6.    Support in maintaining project schedules, status updates, project database reporting, and other project documentation. Project can either be independent efforts, or an input to a larger project plan maintained by other project leaders.
7.    Liaison or coordination with external supplier and internal cross-functional team to facilitate project implementation.
8.    To ensure implementation and maintenance within the workplace of an effective management for occupational safety and health consistent with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and other legislative requirements.
9.    Ensure Program conforms to the Quality System Regulation (QSR), CMDCAS, MDD93/42/EEC, MDR, ISO 13485 and other relevant Standards

Education / Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree of Science – Material, Polymer, Engineering or Technical discipline
Must be fluent in both spoken and written English
Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar engineering position
