Position Summary

Principal Responsibilities

•    Responsible for the entire spectrum of human resources function such as HR Business partnership ,recruitment & selection, training & development, employee relations, compensation & benefits.
•    Be strategic HR business partner to site leadership team. Responsible to develop HR strategy that align with site strategy and goals. 
•    Ensure that the company is compliant with all local employment law requirements. 
•    Keep abreast of all employment law changes and ensure that the company’s remains compliant with these changes
•    Raise any concerns around employment law compliance with Teleflex Senior Management 
•    Review, formulate, develop and implement HR procedures, policies and guidelines to ensure compliances and effectiveness.
•    Provide overall operational supervision, management and support for payroll and   time attendance system. Ensure timely payment of employee’s monthly remuneration, transactional processes are executed accurately in a timely manner, accurate maintenance of complete and systematic payroll and records/database.
•    Lead HR team to support the business as measured by People KPI & improve employee experience through continuous improvement in HR operation processes.
•    Engage, develop a strong and vital HR team 
•    Attend to all disciplinary issues, staff counselling and grievances, transfers, termination and other employee related matters in compliance with labour laws.
•    Lead HR initiatives and projects such as performance appraisal, compensation and benefit survey and proposal, internal and external audit, employee’s activities, etc. 
•    Implement talent management system, including succession and manage the Company’s performance management process. 
•    Overseeing of administration matters – canteen facilities, cleaning and security services, communication board, etc.
•    Ensure consistent HR practices across the company. Drive and foster diverse, inclusive and safe work environment 
•    Ensure all information is kept at utmost confidentiality.
•    Perform any other relevant and related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required by superior.
•    Fostering good relationship and ensure effective communication and engagement among employee , management and community 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management.

•    Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in manufacturing environment with exposure in MNC organization.


Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Must be able to communicate fluently (written and verbal) in English and Malay Language.
•    Strong people management and interpersonal skills, resourceful and a team player.
•    Strong business partnership skills, ability to understand business and translate into HR stratgy
•    Good knowledge of current human resource practices with a deep understanding and knowledge of employment law and employment best practices.
•    Able to coordinates in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
