Position Summary

The HR Executive (Payroll) is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and company policies. The role also provides payroll administration support, maintains employee payroll records, responds to payroll-related enquiries, and assists with payroll reporting and HR administrative activities. The incumbent will work closely with HR, Finance, and relevant stakeholders to ensure payroll operations are executed efficiently and confidentially.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines. 
•    Verify payroll inputs, including new hires, resignations, salary adjustments, overtime, shift allowances, attendance, leave deductions, bonuses, and other payroll transactions. 
•    Ensure payroll calculations are accurate and compliant with company policies and statutory requirements. 
•    Prepare final salary payments for resigning employees. 
•    Review payroll reports and resolve discrepancies before payroll processing. 
•    Prepare and verify statutory submissions, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRD Corp Levy. 
•    Ensure timely submission and payment of all statutory contributions. 
•    Support payroll audits and ensure compliance with Malaysian employment legislation and company policies. 
•    Maintain accurate employee payroll records within payroll system. 
•    Ensure payroll documentation is complete and properly maintained. 
•    Respond to employee enquiries regarding payroll, statutory deductions, payslips, and salary-related matters. 
•    Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. 
•    Maintain strict confidentiality of employee payroll information. 
•    Assist with payroll reconciliations and month-end reporting. 
•    Ensure all payroll activities comply with company policies, internal controls, PDPA requirements, and relevant employment legislation. 
•    Maintain confidentiality and integrity of payroll information at all times. 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. 
•    Minimum 1 years of payroll administration experience. 
•    Experience processing payroll in a medium to large organization is preferred. 
•    Experience in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
