Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and communications-savvy HR Executive – Communication & Strategies to support internal and external HR communication efforts within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for delivering clear, consistent, and strategic messaging to enhance transparency, promote company culture, and support HR and corporate initiatives. You will play a key role in how communication shapes employee experience, operational alignment, and employer brand perception.
Principal Responsibilities
Internal Communication
• Develop and implement internal communication strategies that support HR initiatives, safety campaigns, policy updates, and company-wide announcements.
• Create and manage content for internal platforms such as notice boards, digital displays, internal newsletters, posters, WhatsApp broadcasts, and employee handouts.
• Ensure messages are effectively delivered and understood across all levels.
• Assist with planning and content creation for HR-led employee engagement activities and internal events.
• Ensure messages are effectively delivered and understood across all employee levels and shifts.
• Support translation and localization of key internal communications (e.g., in Bahasa Malaysia or simplified formats) to ensure comprehension among employees.
External HR Communication
• Support employer branding efforts by preparing HR-related content for social media, recruitment platforms, corporate website, and external publications.
• Assist in developing materials that showcase the company’s culture, career opportunities, CSR efforts, and community involvement.
• Coordinate photo and video content related to employees, site activities, and HR campaigns for external use.
• Collaborate with the corporate communications team to ensure consistent branding and tone across all channels.
• Assist in maintaining a content calendar and preparing reports on engagement or content performance, where needed.
Project Communication
• Contribute to the communication strategy for HR projects such as system implementations, learning initiatives, or policy changes.
• Track effectiveness of communication through feedback, clarity checks, or surveys.
• To ensure the implementation and maintenance, within the department, of an effective management for occupational safety and health consistent with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and other legislative requirements.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in internal communications, HR, or a related function (internship or manufacturing experience is a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to different employee levels.
• Comfortable using basic design tools such as Canva or PowerPoint.
• Basic Photoshop skills will be an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
