Position Summary

Principal Responsibilities

    Develop Operating and Maintenance Procedures for the FLSS on Site
    To be appointed as Site Fire Safety Officer – upon enforcement of new act under BOMBA(TBD)
    Establish Periodic robust PM process for the entire FLSS on Site 
    Coach and guide Site Facilities Technicians on Shift  and ERT members on their R&R 
    Liaison personal for FM Global and manage audit findings and closure 
    Develop training materials, and conduct training sessions on fire protection.
    Evaluate fire department performance and the laws and regulations affecting fire prevention or fire safety. 
    Prepare and write reports detailing specific fire prevention and protection issues such as work performed and proposed review schedules.
    Advise architects, builders, and other construction personnel on fire prevention equipment and techniques, and on fire code and standard interpretation and compliance.
    Conduct assessment on fire retardants and the fire safety of materials and devices. 
    Consult with authorities to discuss fire safety regulations and to recommend changes as necessary.
    Advise on design and engineering issues for fire detection and suppression systems.
    Determine causes of fires, and ways in which they could have been prevented.
    Implementing, tracking and managing continuous improvement projects on FLSS

Education / Experience Requirements

    Bachelor's degree 
    Fire protection engineering or related engineering field
    Minimum 3+ years fire protection or related experience
    Experience in MNC with FM Global systems will be an advantage
    Analytical and problem solving, communication, and multi-tasking skills; familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD, BMS; knowledge of fire suppression and safety systems; ability to read and create construction documents and specifications
