Position Summary
Principal Responsibilities
1. Improve operation cost of existing operation by means of quality improvement of productivity and efficiency improvement.
2. Undertake qualification / validation of new process, initiate via new / improved product or productivity improvement.
3. Coordinating project by interface between development and operation.
4. Support failure / complaint / CAPA investigation and recommend its solution.
5. Perform process monitoring and recommend / initiate action whenever necessary inclusive any assigned task by superior.
6. Liaising with vendor and supplier to further improve or enhance jig and fixture for process stability.
7. To initiate any technology improvement in meeting the efficiency, productivity and quality requirements.
8. Ensure safety / regulatory compliance in all process and undertake it requirements improvement and maintenance.
9. To verify and approve documentation such as Operation Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ).
10. Mentoring and coaching process engineer on process aspects.
11. Able to draft PEA to fund for the automation / machine refurbishment project through CAPEX funding processes.
12. Track and identifies new opportunity to improve existing methodology in the organization.
13. Lead and coordinates projects that may involves product transfer from oversea, new process introduction, process re-engineering, material sourcing and material change validation.
Education / Experience Requirements
Qualification :
Degree in Polymer Science or related Engineering field or Industrial Chemistry.Computer knowledge will be an added advantage.
Experience :
Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a managerial level for manufacturing environment, preferably in medical manufacturing environment.
