Regional Indirect Sourcing Leader

Position Summary

Responsible for the end‑to‑end ownership of indirect sourcing and savings initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites. This role leads the full lifecycle of sourcing—from opportunity identification and strategy development (in alignment with Regional Purchasing Manager) through implementation, adoption, and verified savings realization—ensuring sourcing decisions are fully deployed, embraced by plant operations, and translated into measurable and sustainable business value. The role plays a critical part in driving standardization, MRO integration, supplier performance, and transformation from decentralized to structured sourcing models.

Principal Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize indirect sourcing and savings opportunities across MRO, manufacturing services, and other high‑impact categories.
• Maintain full end‑to‑end ownership of sourcing initiatives from strategy through implementation and savings realization.
• Lead deployment of sourcing decisions across all plants, ensuring consistent execution and adoption.
• Drive supplier transitions, catalog implementation, and process standardization across sites.
• Own and deliver validated, finance‑approved savings and eliminate savings leakage.
• Track savings realization in partnership with Finance and ensure compliance to contracts and preferred suppliers.
• Lead MRO integration initiatives, including supplier consolidation and SKU standardization.
• Apply total cost of ownership (TCO) models to sourcing and supplier decisions.
• Own integrator performance, including inventory health, service levels, and sustained savings delivery.
• Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, driving performance and continuous improvement.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration and change management across Operations, Finance, Quality, and project resources.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 10+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
• Experience in medical devices or regulated manufacturing preferred
• Proven track record in savings delivery,  MRO integration, sourcing transformation and supplier consolidation

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Advanced strategic sourcing and negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of MRO and indirect categories
• Proven ability to lead implementation across multiple sites
• Cost modeling and savings tracking (TCO, ROI)
• ERP systems (SAP) and procurement tools
• Strong stakeholder influence and change management
• Bilingual Spanish - English 95%
