Position Summary

The Training Associate supports the Quality Management System (QMS) training program by administering training assignments, maintaining training records, monitoring training compliance, and supporting training processes related to controlled document changes. This role works closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other functional teams to ensure training requirements are assigned, completed, and documented in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Administer and maintain employee training assignments, records, and qualification data within company training systems.
•    Monitor training compliance, track completion status, and follow up with employees and managers regarding outstanding training requirements.
•    Generate and maintain training reports, metrics, and compliance data to support business and quality objectives.
•    Support onboarding and role-transition training assignments and ensure training documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
•    Coordinate training activities associated with controlled document changes and collaborate with document owners and cross-functional teams to identify and implement training requirements.
•    Maintain training matrices and support continuous improvement of training administration and compliance processes.
•    Ensure training records are maintained in accordance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
•    Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by preparing and providing training records, reports, and related documentation.
•    Identify training compliance gaps and communicate issues to appropriate stakeholders for resolution.
•    Provide support and guidance regarding training requirements and training records.
•    Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
•    Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
•    Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting training administration, document control, quality systems, or a related function within a regulated industry.
•    Experience working in a medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and controlled documentation processes.
•    Familiarity with applicable regulatory and quality requirements, including FDA regulations and ISO 13485.
•    Experience maintaining records and managing data with a high degree of accuracy.

 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $56,500 - $79,100  however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
