Position Summary

The Human Resources Specialist serves as a key liaison, providing comprehensive HR support while promoting the company’s Core Values. This role delivers broad workforce support across multiple HR functions, with key responsibilities including, but not limited to, recruitment and selection, onboarding and employee engagement, training development, timesheet administration, performance management, employee relations, and general HR administrative support.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Lead and manage all hourly recruiting activities for the site, including staffing coordination, job postings, interviews, and candidate communication.
•    Review, edit, and submit weekly time sheets in a timely manner for payroll processing; resolve discrepancies with supervisors and timekeeping systems.
•    Manage agency communications, including timesheet approvals, invoice tracking, and vendor follow-ups.
•    Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations concerns within the designated group and escalate to the appropriate HRM function when necessary.
•    Provide day-to-day support to the site management team, including administrative assistance, meeting & training coordination, and internal site communications.
•    Guide employees with HR policy questions, benefits, leave, and other HR-related topics by directing them to the appropriate Teleflex HR function.
•    Coordinates and/or participates in the implementation of training and development courses required by the training program (Detection of needs each year).
•    Responsible for determining employee training, development, and orientation needs.
•    Responsible for following up every quarter of the year on employees the Development and Performance goals of the CONNECT system for administrative employees, as well as career plans.
•    Responsible for documenting and registering with the corresponding authorities, the Training and Development Program
•    Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive employees and company information.
•    Complete and verify all new hire I-9 documentation and submit to Equifax within three business days.
•    Organize and facilitate the full onboarding and orientation process for new hires.
•    Communicate employee status updates (e.g., new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, salary changes, shift changes) to HRM and site leadership; ensure HRIS and timekeeping data is accurate and up to date.
•    Assist with benefits education and open enrollment support; escalate unresolved or complex issues to HRM.
•    Provide exceptional customer service by responding to employee inquiries and welcoming visitors.
•    Lead and coordinate site-wide engagement activities such as Employee of the Month, monthly employee events, quarterly CSR events, DEI and wellness programs, and on-site appreciation meals.
•    Act as the liaison for special projects and organizational programs as assigned.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience Requirements

•    BS Degree in HR, Business, Psychology, preferred.
•    3+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field, including demonstrated knowledge of varied aspects of Human Resources and relevant employment regulations (including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO and Affirmative Action).
•    Strong work ethic, sound judgment, detail-oriented, analytical, and organized.
•    Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment or manufacturing environment preferred.
