Position Summary
Human Resources Coordinator will act as a liaison to provide general support, direction, and guidance to onsite employees. In addition to providing direction to employees and routing questions and concerns to the appropriate Teleflex HR function, this position coordinates all front office administrative activities supporting Plant related Human Resource and general administrative needs.
Principal Responsibilities
- Coordinate all Staffing, approve/edit weekly timesheet records and submit to agencies, manage invoices.
- Provide support to the site Management Team; administrative, training, payroll, timekeeping, communications
- Immediately communicate to appropriate Teleflex HR function any employee relations concerns
- Assist employees with questions, concerns, and guidance in the full range of HR policies, benefits, etc. by directing them to the appropriate Teleflex HR function
- Ensure all employees have read, understood, and signed the site Handbook, communicate new policies to support the organization; interpret existing policies and procedures and/or reach out to the appropriate HR function for policy guidance when needed
- Maintain confidentiality regarding employees, applicants, and other sensitive information
- Ensure all new hire I9 information has been successfully uploaded to Equifax for verification within three business days
- Organize onboarding and new hire orientation process
- Provide support to the training function as needed, audits, administration, data collection, and policy administration, preparation of training slide decks
- Communicate employee status and organizational updates; including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, shift changes, org chart updates, etc. with site Management Team and HRBP to maintain data integrity within the HRIS and timekeeping systems and to keep personnel files current
- Support the Benefit function by directing employees on benefits issues, assist when unresolved or complex issues arise, work with site Management Team and HRBP to lead the facility open enrollment process and assist employees with enrollments and benefits education
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee request and questions and greeting employees and visitors
- Coordinate employee events including on-site meals, employee recognition, engagement, CRS & DEI Activities, and wellness programs, organize office luncheons and reserve meeting spaces upon request
- Prepare memos, bulletin board postings, and other correspondence
- Serve as liaison/coordinator for special projects and programs throughout the organization
- Ensure that HR records and work instructions are compliant with quality and management systems
- Update facility access for associates as required (setup key fobs, create new users, etc.)
- Order all office supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels and maintain toner inventory for printers and copiers
- Order cleaning supplies and ensure coffee stations, kitchens & break rooms, and restrooms are fully stocked and tidy
- Update seating chart and facility map as needed.
- Coordinate with property management as required for building maintenance & work orders (roof issues, plumbing issues, etc.).
- Other duties as assigned.
Education / Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of working experience in Human Resources or a related field, including demonstrated knowledge of varied aspects of Human Resources and relevant employment regulations (including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO and Affirmative Action).
- BS Degree in HR, Business, Psychology, preferred
- Human Resources Certification (SHRM or HRCI) preferred.
