Latin America - The Latin America Region of Teleflex is headquartered in Morrisville, North Carolina, and supports our customers, distributors, sales managers and specialists in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Argentina and Puerto Rico. Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team in Colombia. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, distributors and other medical institutions. You will work closely with our marketing and product development teams to ensure that our products and services meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. You will be expected to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic sales plans, and achieve sales targets
Principal Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and institutions.
• Present and demonstrate our products and services to potential clients.
• Provide feedback to the product development team to improve offerings.
• Prepare and deliver sales reports to management.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Maintain updated strategic territory information, including distributor’s coverage and sales performance.
• Work in partnership with Commercial Director to deliver technical support into Corporate Accounts and account planning execution.
• Work in partnership with distributors to increase TFX product adoption.
• Work in partnership with Marketing team to evaluate the market potential and current business model proposing a new go to market strategy.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales with experience in cardiology, cardiac surgery, peripheral or hemodynamics product line role within the medical device industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams.
• Business Acumen, results-oriented, professional capable of managing the complexities of multiple business units within an account.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Growth Mindset willingness to challenge the status quo, problem-solve, and overcome obstacles to drive deals forward.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Teams).
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
