Position Summary

This role will assist with the projects that support Teleflex Medical’s specific activities. These activities will involve support in recruiting, new hire orientation, various projects, policy administration, benefits support and training/employee development, HRBP support, ensuring Teleflex is positioned at all times as professional organization, operating with a strong focus on people and providing opportunity for development. 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Maintain human resources records and files
•    Create and maintain various reports needed to track HR processes; staffing, cost of hires, Performance Management, turnover, hires/terms, compensation plans, etc
•    Provide effective assistance/service to managers/employees with problem resolution and questions related to Human Resources programs, policies and procedures
•    Assist with recruiting efforts including; developing job specs, working with our Talent Acquisition team on recruitment supports as required, provide HR support at interviews via MS Teams or in person, arrangement of interviews as required and issuing of contractual and benefit information. Assist to identify talent within and outside the corporation for future positions
•    Administer and advise on company benefits and support with employee welfare and engagement programmes
•    Coordinate the processes necessary for New Hire Orientation. Working with hiring managers to plan schedules for first few weeks, equipment needs, etc. Coordinate/participate with local site HR to deliver benefits and policies orientation
•    Coordinate details, tracking, scheduling and tactical execution of HR project plans.
•    Coordinate activities related to the administration and maintenance of employee benefits programmes
•    Coordinate the development and distribution of information to employees through newsletters, site wide communications, materials regarding programs, services, activities and policies.
•    Coordinate, organize, support and plan company events, e.g wellness events, meetings, whilst staying within budget
•    Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation
•    Assist in maintaining knowledge of local laws assisting with implementation in country/Business Units
•    Other duties / HR administration / projects as assigned by manager
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    HR/Business Diploma, Degree or Masters
•    Knowledge of Employment legislation
•    CIPD certification is an advantage

•    Strong problem-solving skills for developing creative solutions and meeting objectives are required
•    Skills that enable collaboration and communication, including MS-Office (primarily PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel,)
•    Excellent analytical ability
•    The ability to prioritize tasks and be able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously; and the ability to interface with all levels of management
