Position Summary

The incumbent is responsible for promoting and selling Vascular Intervention products directly or indirectly to hospitals and medical professionals. The incumbent will build strong customer relations through excellent customer service. The incumbent will provide remote and on- site clinical technical support for Vascular Intervention products.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Able to achieve business plan within assigned accounts and deliver results.
  • Attend to doctors or KOLs (i.e. vascular surgeons, interventional radiologist, cardiologists etc.) in private or government hospitals.
  • Work closely with hospitals on tenders and consignment stocks or/and to work with channel partners on tenders.
  • Manage key processes and procedures involved in the sales or services and comply to business and healthcare compliance regulation guidelines.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure strategic account plans are developed and implemented effectively.
  • Support the marketing team in events, workshops or congress.
  • Support in clinical studies.
  • Provide technical support, including tools maintenance, testing, directly or indirectly to field and inquiries from doctors.
  • Assist implantations/procedures, including follow-up cases.
  • Able to conduct root cause analysis to resolve issues.
  • May need to attend to calls after office hours.

Education / Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in life sciences, engineering or related field of medical discipline.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the medical industry.
  • Experience in healthcare industry or with relevant technical know-how will be considered.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • High level of energy and passion to drive products to the assigned accounts.
  • Basic knowledge of working in sterile room environment and medical device product lines, through direct physician interaction and procedural consultation.
  • Able to build strong working relationship with doctors to support company product lines.
  • Knowledge of providing clinical support to surgeons during procedures is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of key trends within the medical device segments and has the ability to identify potential opportunities.
