Position Summary

The Clinical Data Operations department is responsible for data management and statistical analysis of our international clinical trials.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Create, review and approve statistical planning of clinical studies in order to ensure compliance with the study protocol and company quality standards SAS programming

  • Developing of clinical databases/ processes, validation and reviewing including documentation

  • Regular review of study data within Medical Affairs department

  • Creation and maintenance of reports

  • Developing and maintenance of automated data downloads from clinical databases for data analysis purposes 

Education / Experience Requirements

  • BA/BS/MS or international equivalent experience in biometrics, life sciences, computer science, mathematics, or related field

  • Excellent knowledge of statistics, medical biometry and epidemiology

  • Programming skills in SAS

  • GCP knowledge and experience in clinical trials

  • Programming skills especially in SQL, R and/or Ruby is an advantage

  • Knowledge of administration of databases is an advantage

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (MDD/MDR) is an advantage

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of German an advantage

  • Open minded, proactive, flexible team player with good communication skills and high attention to details
