Position Summary
Supplier Quality: This position is a key liaison between Global Procurement, Site Buyers, Site Quality, and business units, ensuring high-quality materials, products, and services. It drives supplier performance through improvement initiatives, resolving quality issues, and building strategic supplier relationships. The role involves developing and managing supplier quality agreements, compliance, supplier qualification activities, complaint investigations, NCs, SCARs and audits.
QMS: Execute Quality System activities and initiatives in accordance with internal procedures and external regulations/standards. Support external audits and inspections.
Principal Responsibilities
• Coordinate with Global Procurement, Site Buyers, and Site Quality to provide the appropriate supplier quality support for the purchase of Purchased Finished Goods (PFG).
• Perform supplier compliance and qualification functions and activities for prospective new PFG suppliers.
• Lead complaint investigations, Nonconformances and SCARS with PFG suppliers.
• Analyze and identify trends from quality data and develop proactive measures with the supplier in support of continuous improvement.
• Assist the business units with the acquisition of new companies and the integration of their suppliers into the Teleflex quality system.
• Provide other departmental support requested by the immediate manager.
• Lead front room external audit workstreams as required. Support back-room activities where front room support is not required.
• Participate in Internal Audits with goal of becoming Certified Lead Auditor.
• Support resolution of Athlone nonconformances and CAPAs as needed.
• Provide Quality Systems support to all areas of the QMS in Athlone as needed.

Education / Experience Requirements
• 4-year science or engineering degree and 0-2 years’ experience in the medical device industry in the areas of Engineering, Regulatory, Supplier Quality and/or Quality Systems.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
• Understanding of global Quality System requirements.
• Excellent written, oral communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Able to prioritize projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
