Position Summary
Teleflex are required to first meet the EU CSRD reporting requirements in 2026. Working within the Sustainability function, the role will primarily project manage the CSRD reporting requirements and supporting projects to ensure compliance with CSRD. The Project Manager will define and drive objectives that will ensure project deliverables and timelines are met, for reporting to CSRD and, the multiple supporting projects. The successful candidate will take ownership guiding teams through planning, execution, governance and completion of tasks. Furthermore, the candidate will also support the wider corporate sustainability reporting requirements and corporate sustainability strategy.
Principal Responsibilities
• To become a CSRD subject matter expert
• Engage with external partners, auditors, ESG advisors, industry bodies and the sustainability reporting community to maintain awareness of current best practice for ensuring CSRD compliance
• Reporting to the Sustainability Director and working with the wider sustainability team and CSR leads, agree the projects required to ensure compliance with CSRD
• Agree the scope of the various projects, and develop objectives and programme
• Coordinating and communicating with multiple stakeholders, manage project prioritization, scheduling, execution and budgeting
• Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and ensure delivery within timelines.
• Prepare project status reports and keep team and all involved stakeholders informed of project status and any issues.
• Leverage CSRD compliance to support the corporate sustainability agenda (beyond compliance)
• Liaise with key business partners such as commercial, QARA, procurement, HR, Operations, compliance, and CMA to ensure alignment.
• Support other sustainability and reporting projects and initiatives within the sustainability teams’ remit, as required
Education / Experience Requirements
- • Excellent knowledge and understanding of CSRD
• Degree in Project Management, Sustainability, Engineering or related field. Master’s level qualification preferable.
• 3+ years of project management of sustainable reporting aligned to some / all of NFRD, GRI, TFCD, SASB, CDP, IFRS, SFDR
• 5+ years’ experience working in a Project Management / Sustainability preferably in medical device or other regulated industry such as Pharma or Automotive, with progressive levels of responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships that help achieve results and influence employees / managers at every level of the organisation.
• Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and lead to effective outcomes.
• Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
• It is essential that the role holder have a positive personality with the drive to make a difference.
• Strong excel and data analytic skills
• Familiarity with Planview or other similar project management software
