Position Summary

As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will work the full spectrum of Master Data Management (MDM) from governance to tool implementation and system administration.

 

The role is specific to ensure master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.

 

Master Data Management is a key factor in building effective customer relationship management processes, helping to reduce errors that can negatively affect both customer outcomes and productivity goals, while aligning with global data standards.

 

The role is on a hybrid basis: 3 days on site. #LI-hybrid #LI-UH1 

Principal Responsibilities

Master Data Management:
•    Create, update, and maintain Customer Master Data in SAP and other data objects.
•    Ensure compliance with established data standards, naming conventions, and business rules.

 

Data Quality & Governance:
•    Identify areas for data quality improvement and resolve issues using error detection, correction, process control, and design strategies.
•    Ensure that only approved and validated changes are implemented in production environments, in compliance with SOPs and Data Standards.
•    Maintain ERP system documentation to align with the company’s strategic direction and compliance requirements.
•    Collaborate with functional data owners to manage master data governance and integrity across operations, supporting ongoing maintenance and accuracy.

 

Data Strategy & Process Optimization:
•    Develop and implement strategies to translate business requirements into structured, reliable data models that meet operational needs.
•    Lead initiatives to enhance client database systems and improve overall data quality.
•    Participate in cross-functional projects and global initiatives across multiple regions and business areas.

 

Subject Matter Expertise & Support:
•    Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in key areas such as Vistex, EDI, ZPSA, and data analytics.
•    Provide support for new system enhancements and major project implementations.
•    Deliver ongoing training to stakeholders on master data processes and system complexities to ensure compliance and proficiency.

 

Reporting & Compliance:
•    Generate reports and dashboards to track data quality and performance.
•    Maintain compliance with internal controls and external regulations (e.g., GDPR).

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Previous knowledge of SAP at user or master data management level is preferred.
•    Business systems and process development experience in a World Class Customer Service environment is preferred.
•    Ability and willingness to learn multiple IT systems and processes
•    Computer literate and proficient in the use of the Internet, Excel, Word & Windows.
•    Excellent listening, verbal and communication skills.
•    Demonstrate analytical capability to interpret and challenge data and to identify where data may not be accurate or incomplete.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills.
•    Good decision making, time management, personnel leadership skills, analytical skills as well as the ability to think strategically.
•    Ability to work in a fast-changing multinational environment.
