Position Summary

Monitor and report on global supply from DC to DC. To support Sales initiatives by region and business unit by ensuring alignment of the supply base to those initiatives – both in terms of Service levels and Capacity to fulfill the demand. Implementing strategies which enable the company to achieve future growth objectives with an adaptive, scalable Demand and Fulfillment model that supports multi-format business units including integration of possible acquisitions. Ensure Teleflex Medical is positioned at all times as a key preferred supplier within the medical devices space.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Review supply lanes for potential backorders & prepare relevant reports on risk to supply for review with Senior Supply Planner/s.
•    Review spikes/drops in demand and investigate reasons for same – clean up signals
•    Manage exceptional demand/sales opportunities with the Supply Planners to maximize revenues.
•    Maintain constructive and productive relationships with Supply planners and DC’s.
•    In the process of Global Demand Fulfillment – ensure the supply of product meets customer demand. 
•    Manage IC allocations to DC’s
•    Management of IC purchase orders and order placement – escalate mismatches
•    System Health Hygiene DC to DC also material Set Up and maintenance– PIR, SL and MRP 1-4
•    Management of air freights & DC Returns & Alerts
•    Manges expedites with warehouse and L&D
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
•    Strong professional experience, at least three years, of supply chain; materials management or logistics 
•    Advanced Excel.
•    SAP experience or similar ERP/MRP system, good working knowledge preferable 
•    Deep understanding of supply chain and how service levels are impacted by differing elements of the process.
•    Experience in Global Supply Chain Networks and Supply Process ex plants to DC’s 
•    Attention to detail and accuracy – essential.
•    Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure
•    Problem solving skills for developing creative solutions and meeting objectives are required.
•    Excellent analytical ability.
•    Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and directly, both verbally and in writing, to a widely varied audience.
•    Good business acumen.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 10% Approx 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Hybrid: 3 Days in the Athlone Office and 2 Days Remote
