We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for service excellence throughout the recruitment cycle. They act as a brand ambassador for the organization, focused on delivering exceptional talent while providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search. They serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition and provide consultative direction and industry expertise to our hiring leaders.

This role will assist recruitment projects that support all Teleflex EMEA Business Units and HR business partnerships. These activities will involve support in direct recruiting activities, job posting, interviews management and lead, economical agreements with successful candidates.  As our company grows, this role will support our growth efforts and assist in finding ways to automate processes and increase productivity.

This position will follow a hybrid working model in our Athlone, Ireland office.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Coordinate the processes necessary for recruitment. Working with hiring managers to plan schedules for different round interviews.
•    Create and maintain recruitment information in HR systems.
•    Maintain candidate database, in accordance with EU laws.
•    Create and maintain various reports needed to track EMEA recruitment, cost of hires, hires/terms, etc.
•    Provide effective assistance/service to managers/employees with problem resolution and questions related to recruitment programs.
•    Assist with recruiting efforts including developing job specs, posting on company bulletin boards, post on Internet web sites, review applications/resumes, evaluate skills, interview job applicants on the phone or in person, candidate scheduling, travel arrangements and expense reporting, recommendations regarding applicant’s qualifications, send letters after positions are filled. Assist in developing staffing strategies and implementation plans to identify talent within and outside the corporation for future positions.
•    Participate in various HR projects lead by our EMEA HR group in relation to talent acquisition. 
•    Captures BU needs about headcount, verifies the funding for received requests and look for final approval from relevant stakeholders
•    Coordinate, organize, and plan recruitment events with third parties (Universities, job fairs, etc.) while staying within budget.
•    Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation.
•    Other duties / projects as assigned by manager.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s Degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of.
•    A minimum of three years results-oriented recruiting experience
•    Experience within a life sciences industry (especially medical devices) is preferred
 

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

•    Fluent English level (spoken and written), experience with another European language at a professional level would be a plus.
•    Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, excellent follow-through, and the ability to multi-task.
•    Continuous improvement approach towards work processes.
•    Proficient in Boolean search techniques for sourcing.
•    Experience leveraging the latest digital technology (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor)
•    Experience with PCs and MS Office 
•    Approachable, professional, and able to work in a highly confidential environment.
•    Position will require some travel.
