Position Summary

The successful candidate will be part of a core tax group with deep focus on accounting for income taxes (strategic, annual plan, quarterly reporting and accounting implications of restructuring).  Basic accounting skills, attention to details, and ability to work as part of a team are necessary for this position.

Today, Teleflex tax functions includes 18 dedicated tax professionals residing in three different jurisdictions who oversee all aspects of direct income taxes globally.  As a tax team we strive for achieving motivating professional environment which is respectful to individual member’s personal interests and commitments.

Principal Responsibilities

•    Support management in preparation of the annual and quarterly tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740.
•    Support management in preparation of estimates of tax expenses for strategic and annual operating plans.
•    Assist on as needed basis in preparation of U.S. Federal & State Income and Franchise Tax returns.
•    Assist with federal & state tax related projects and research.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related field.
•    Minimum three years of Finance experience required; with 2-5 years of tax experience preferred.
•    Pursuit of CPA and/or MBA is a plus.
